AVID strategies can be seen integrated throughout all content areas throughout the day. Teachers use the WICOR components to plan meaningful lessons in which critical thinking, academic skills, and collaboration are strengthened each year. Students begin the year by focusing on specific organizational skills. At Central, we have a school-wide organizational system that helps support students as they grow from Kindergarten through 5th grade and on to middle school.
