A Message From the Principal:

Cougar Families,

We are officially powering into Quarter 2, and I could not be more proud of the amazing start we have had this school year! Our students are learning, growing, and rising to the challenge, and our staff continues to work tirelessly to make sure every Cougar Cub has what they need to be successful.

Our goal is clear: we are working our way to a B! And we know that accomplishing big goals requires all of us working together.

One of the biggest ways families can help us keep the momentum going is through great attendance. Simply put, students need to be at school to learn. Every day your child is present and on time is another day to learn something new, practice important skills, build relationships, receive support, and move one step closer to reaching their goals. When we protect instructional time, we protect opportunities for our students to succeed.

Our teachers and staff bring incredible heart, dedication, and energy to Central Avenue every single day. They plan, teach, encourage, support, challenge, celebrate, and believe in our students. We are fortunate to have a team that refuses to give up on kids and continues looking for ways to help every learner grow.

Quarter 2 is our opportunity to take everything we started and POWER IT UP! More learning. More growth. More celebrations. More determination. More success.

Families, continue talking with your children about what they are learning. Celebrate their accomplishments, encourage them when something feels challenging, prioritize daily attendance, and remind them that their effort matters.

We are building something special at Central Avenue, and I am so excited about where we are headed.
