A Message From the Principal:
I hope this message finds you well and that each of you is enjoying a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer. As we close out another school year, I want to take a moment to share how incredibly proud I am of the progress our students, staff, and school community have made. Together, we have accomplished so much, and it has been wonderful to see our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
As you enjoy your time with family and friends, I encourage all of our students to continue practicing the skills they have worked so hard to develop throughout the year. Reading daily, writing, and using educational learning apps are great ways to stay engaged and prepared for a strong start in the fall. Even a little practice each day can make a big difference!
We are also excited to continue welcoming new members to the Central Avenue family. We currently have openings in our Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program. If your child will be 4 years old by September 1, 2026, we encourage you to register as soon as possible and take advantage of this wonderful early learning opportunity.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Have a fantastic summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone back refreshed and ready for another successful school year!
Your Proud Principal of CAES,
Amanda DeRight
